Natural stone export quality control
Quality control is most useful when the buyer’s requirements are written before quotation. Afrina Stone confirms sorting, required thickness, processing expectations and the agreed inspection points for each order rather than applying an unnamed universal checklist.

01 · Define the requirement
Turn the project specification into an agreed QC brief.
State the selected stone, product form, required thickness, surface processing, quantity and intended use. Natural variation should be considered when the acceptable selection is agreed.
Identify any measurement, tolerance, record, photograph, video or third-party inspection requirement before quotation so it can be reviewed for the order.
02 · Confirm the checkpoints
Afrina Stone coordinates control at selection, sorting and loading.
Selection and sorting
The selected stone and sorting requirement are reviewed against the order. The acceptable visual range must be agreed because natural stone varies.
Thickness and processing
Required thickness and processing expectations are checked against the confirmed specification. Any numerical tolerance must be written and agreed for the project.
Loading and release
A quality-control responsible person reviews the agreed requirements at loading and confirms release. Additional checkpoints can be arranged when requested by the buyer and agreed by both parties.
03 · Evidence and records
Request the evidence your approval process needs.
Photographs or video can be sent to the buyer before dispatch. The required views, timing and approval contact should be agreed for the order.
A QC checklist or report can be provided when requested through the sales consultant or export manager. Its scope depends on the agreed requirements; it is not presented as a universal certificate.
04 · Independent inspection
Third-party inspection can be coordinated.
A buyer may request a third-party inspector. The inspector, scope, timing, access and responsibility should be agreed before the relevant inspection stage.
If the buyer needs quality control at another stage, that checkpoint can be reviewed and added by agreement between the parties.
Name the required standard or test.
The phrase “global standards” is not used here as a certification. If a project requires a named standard, laboratory test, measurement method or acceptance limit, identify it before quotation so Afrina Stone can review whether it can form part of the order agreement.
