Sourcing natural stone from Iran
A useful sourcing conversation starts with the material, format, dimensions, finish, approximate quantity and destination. Afrina Stone confirms current supply and order-specific commercial details before production or preparation begins.
01 · Prepare the brief
Start with the project requirement, not only a stone name.
Tell the supplier where the stone is intended to be used, the visual direction you need, the approximate quantity and the destination. Natural variation is part of the material, so a current photograph or sample should support final selection.
A requested schedule is useful as a buyer input, but preparation and dispatch timing must be confirmed with Afrina Stone’s sales and export team and coordinated with company management for the specific order.
02 · Select the material
Compare the current stone families and named materials.
The current collection includes travertine, marble and crystal stone, granite and limestone. Compare visual character, then open the named product pages for current imagery and enquiry details.
Confirm format, dimensions and finish.
Supply can be arranged as blocks, slabs, tiles or cut-to-size pieces. Finish options can include polished, honed, leathered, bush-hammered and flamed surfaces. Suitability, dimensions, quantity and availability are confirmed for the selected stone and order.
Request current material evidence.
Samples can be arranged when required. Contact the sales specialist or export manager with the stone, intended application, preferred finish and destination so the team can coordinate the material or information needed for review.
03 · Order sequence
Move from enquiry to dispatch through confirmed stages.
- 01Enquiry and specifications
- 02Quotation
- 03Production or preparation
- 04Settlement
- 05Factory release and dispatch
The sales specialist or export manager confirms order-specific details. No fixed lead time is stated publicly because timing depends on the selected material, specification and agreed order plan.
Packing, transport and documents are order-specific.
Metal-pallet packing can be arranged when required and included in the customer’s order. The exact scope is confirmed against the product form and shipment requirement.
Afrina Stone currently works on an EXW basis. Under the ICC Incoterms® 2020 definition, EXW places the goods at the buyer’s disposal at the named place; the agreed sales contract remains controlling. Other transport arrangements can be reviewed when requested and when a transport company confirms the route.
Customary export documents are coordinated for the destination and order. Buyers should identify required documents or inspection conditions before quotation; no universal checklist is published without destination-specific confirmation.

Put project-specific inspection requirements in writing.
Afrina Stone follows its routine quality-control process, while the sales/export team confirms the requirements for the individual order. State required checks, records, tolerances or third-party inspection needs before quotation.
No unnamed “global standard” is presented here as a certification. A required standard or test must be identified and reviewed before it becomes part of the commercial agreement.
